
Let’s start off with a little bit of info about the road closures on Dairy Lane due to the Houghton Feast activities.
Saturday, Dairy Lane closes at 1pm until 4pm. Members and players can park in our car park however this will be busy and you will not be able to get in or out during those times.
Onto the RUGBY!
The U14s kick off the week with some Friday Night Lights! They travel to DMP for a 7pm KO.
Saturday is usually our busiest day of the year with the Annual Houghton Feast Rugby Match. This year it’s a local County Durham Derby against our Rivals and Friends from Seaham RFC. KO is 2pm and PROUDLY SPONSORED BY THE 41 CLUB.
Sunderland V Middlesbrough will be on the TV’s for those that enjoy the round ball. KO 12.30pm
After the match, stick around enjoy a drink with players, friends and sponsors. Live on the big screen England take on Samoa in the last of the group stages.
Rugby doesn’t stop then. Ireland V Scotland, which could be the game of the tournament. A lot to play for! KO 8pm.
Onto Sunday another huge day for Mini & Youth Rugby.
We start early with Durham City arriving for a 10am Kick Off against the TAGS, 11s and 12s.
The 9s and 10s are off for a fabulous experience at the falcons festival.
AWAY from home:
15s V Barnard Castle 11am KO
The 16s start their County Cup campaign against Ryton also 11am KO
In the afternoon;
One week earlier than scheduled Houghton Colts face Whitley Bay Rockcliffe. Should be a great watch KO 1pm

Also in league action are the U18G. This is the first year for the eldest girls. They are currently sitting 2nd with a game in hand. They face DMP/Stockton at 2pm and hope to return home holding top spot!
Its all go again. As usual the bar, kitchen and shop will be open.
Club President will be about selling teams for the rugby card and the 41 club are asking for any donations you have on Saturday for their chosen Chairty HeadWay. Please give generously if you can.
