Winlaton 24 - 34 Boars

Well the season is back and with a bang, great and hard worked victories for both the first and boars teams, congratulations to the first team on there first won of the season in the new division . Boars a great result which we made it hard for ourselves.

First half - started strong, spending a lot of time in their 22 but unable to turn pressure into points, till hutch powered over the line and conversion from Dan Turnbull, soon after Gaz Spoors added another. Starting at a fast pace took it’s toll against the boars and winlaton found a way back into the game by taking advantage of quick play adding two tries and one conversion before Spoors scored his second on the game .

Half time winlaton 12 - 17

Second half - back to boars rugby, phase play and took the game to winlaton, great pitching forward from the forwards to let the backs get the ball and create some great lines from Jack Sneezham and Andrew Charlton which produces space for Spoors score his hat trick of the game and then after a long time away from the game Louis Maggiore score his first try in over two years. Winlaton once again found themselves back in the game after some Ill discipline from us and driving mails found them next to our try line and added two try’s and a conversion again. With little time left, Spoors scored his fourth of the games
